Why Start Your Bachelor’s Degree at LaGuardia??

4 Reasons:
*  Lots of Majors to Choose From
*  Nationally-Recognized Academic Excellence
* Great Value - LaGuardia has the lowest college tuition in New York City and more than 60% of students receive Financial Aid. Graduates save up to $30,000 in senior college tuition by doing the first 2 years of their Bachelor’s degree here.
* Comprehensive Transfer Agreements with more than 70 private and public senior colleges, including NYU, St. John’s, Columbia, Cornell and CUNY’s acclaimed 4-year colleges, which  include Baruch, Queens, Hunter, City, and Brooklyn Colleges.

Non-Degree Options

A non-degree student enrolls in individual LaGuardia courses but is not enrolled in a specific major or working toward a LaGuardia degree. Non-degree students must have a high school diploma or GED (with scores), unless they are registering for a class in our Continuing Education division, where many classes do not have this requirement.

Non-degree students are not eligible for financial aid.

GED Prep

LaGuardia offers a 10-week GED/High School Equivalency Prep program in English and Spanish through our Continuing Education division. Students who successfully earn their GED may apply for admission into the college. For more information, please download or request a copy of the current Continuing Education catalog.
