At LaGuardia,
every effort is made to help students
overcome their financial hardship. The
office of Student Financial Services,
located in C107, is staffed by professional
counselors who assist students in securing
financial aid.
Financial aid covers more than just
Federal and State
programs. Student Financial Services
encourages any student to use our website
services and professional assistance at the
Resource Center C-109 to search for every alternative
means to cover their tuition.
When planning to attend college, an
important consideration is the cost. These
costs include tuition, fees, books,
supplies, travel to and from school and
living expenses. You and your family are
responsible for paying the costs of this
education. The financial aid process helps
you finance your education. The funds come
from the state and the federal governments
in the form of grants, loans and part-time
employment.
