In 2000, CUNY announced its institution-wide Writing Across the Curriculum initiative, which contributed both funding and writing fellows to LaGuardia's program. Since that time WID at LaGuardia has trained over 400 full- and part-time faculty. The institutional commitment to writing-intensive pedagogy has made WID a central component of the strategic vision of the College. |
